Join the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce for the annual State of the Chamber Meeting and Luncheon to hear from 2025 Chairman of the Board, Ian Halperin, and featured speaker Jeffery Johnson, Discipline Lead & Professor of the Business Management & Entrepreneurship Program at Collin College.

This signature event offers an invaluable opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders, gain insights into the Chamber's achievements over the past year, and learn about our strategic vision for the future. Our 2025 Chairman of the Board, Ian Halperin, will deliver the keynote address, highlighting key initiatives and outlining plans to foster a thriving business environment in the Wylie area.

We’re also excited to welcome Jeffery Johnson, Discipline Lead & Professor of the Business Management & Entrepreneurship Program at Collin College. Jeffery leads one of the college’s largest workforce programs and is known for delivering innovative, engaging content to students. His dedication to education extends beyond the classroom—he serves in various college service roles and even trades the lecture hall for the hardwood as a Division I men’s basketball referee during the season. His professional background includes owning and operating a small business, leadership roles within the U.S. Postal Service, and serving in executive positions in his fraternity.

In addition to these insightful addresses, attendees will have the chance to network with peers, discuss current business trends, and explore collaborative opportunities. A buffet-style lunch will be served, providing a relaxed atmosphere to engage with other professionals and community stakeholders.
